A football fan has gone viral for creating a genius way to avoid getting results of overnight World Cup fixtures spoiled.
The World Cup has finally arrived as 48 teams from across the globe prepare to compete in the biggest competition in football.
This year, the World Cup will be hosted across North America, with the United States, Mexico and Canada all hosting matches throughout the summer.
The tournament will feature a total of 104 matches, with Canada and Mexico each hosting 13 matches while the USA will host 78, including the final set to take place on July 19 at New York's MetLife Stadium.

Unfortunately for fans in Europe, the tournament being hosted in North America means that some fixtures will be kicking off in the early hours of the morning, making the typical challenge of watching every match significantly more difficult.
For example, Scotland fans hoping to watch their first World Cup match since 1998 will have to be up at 2AM as The Tartan Army begin their campaign with a match against Haiti at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
Although many fans will no doubt be happy to wake up early in order to watch their team competing at the World Cup, for many others this is simply not feasible and they will instead have to find a way to watch the game, or the highlights, the next morning without getting it spoiled.
Of course in the world of social media this can be nearly impossible, with the biggest moments and results of every match likely to appear online within seconds.
However, thanks to football fan Sam (@FPLSportScience) fans looking to watch the highlights of any match at the World Cup without having the result spoiled will be able to do so on a new website that he has built.
Aptly named Spoiler Free Football, the website displays every single match set to take place during the World Cup and includes the highlight packages from several different broadcasters, all without showing the spoiler-filled title.
In a series of posts, Sam revealed that he would continue working on the website throughout the World Cup to ensure that it is as accessible to as many people as I can regardless what country you are watching from.
What time are England's matches at the World Cup?
Luckily for England fans, none of their group stage matches take place in the early hours of the morning, allowing most to enjoy watching as they would any other match.

That being said, if you aren't able to watch any of the group stage matches or later knockout games, the highlight will be available to view on Sam's genius website.
