An England international is being linked with a move away from the Premier League during the summer transfer window.

England continued their World Cup preparations with a convincing 3-0 win over Costa Rica in Miami on June 10, with new Barcelona signing Anthony Gordon producing an impressive display, registering a goal and an assist. Declan Rice and Ollie Watkins also got on the scoresheet.

Jordan Pickford started in goal, with Reece James, Ezri Konsa, John Stones and Nico O'Reilly making up the defence.

Rice and Elliot Anderson started in central midfield, with Noni Madueke, Jude Bellingham and Gordon ahead of them, while captain Harry Kane led the line.

Tuchel then used 11 of his 15 available substitutes, with Tino Livramento, Jordan Henderson, Ivan Toney and James Trafford the only players who did not feature.

Despite the tournament taking place over the next five weeks, clubs will continue working on transfers while their players focus on international duties.

One player who could be on the move from Spurs is full-back Djed Spence.

Reports in Italy suggest Juventus want to sign the England international if Andrea Cambiaso moves on this summer.

Cambiaso is attracting interest from Chelsea and Manchester City, while Barcelona remain keen on the 26-year-old.

His potential departure could pave the way for Spence to return to Italy, having previously spent time at Genoa in 2024.

Spence is highly regarded by Juve sporting director Marco Ottolini, who brought the Englishman to Genoa during his time at the Liguria club.

The 25-year-old, who can play at both left-back and right-back, has made 85 appearances for Spurs, scoring two goals and providing three assists.

Spence is contracted to Spurs until 2029.

However, his place in the starting XI could come under threat following the arrival of former Liverpool left-back Andrew Robertson. Destiny Udogie will also be hoping to start under Roberto De Zerbi.

Juventus also continue to be linked with Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez, Atletico Madrid forward Alexander Sørloth, Real Madrid winger Brahim Díaz and Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani, who previously enjoyed a loan spell at the Turin club in 2025.

The transfer window opens on June 15.

Thomas Tuchel praises Djed Spence

Speaking back in March, England head coach Thomas Tuchel explained why he wants Spence to be part of the Three Lions’ plans despite the fact Spurs were fighting relegation.

“He was excellent in every match he played for us,” Tuchel said.

“He suffers from a third change of coach at his club, since then he doesn’t get a lot of minutes. He suffers from the situation, is part of the situation at Tottenham.

“He loves defending, he’s the fastest player in our squad, and he loves defending one-on-ones. That’s what makes him a special full-back for us. He can play both sides.

“Before the March camp we said: ‘You don’t get the minutes (with Spurs), if you come here you have to prove yourself again'."

Spence has five England caps, all under Tuchel’s management.
