Jadon Sancho may have selected his next club amid rumours of him leaving Manchester United in the January transfer window.

Back in July 2021, England winger Sancho finally made a £73million move from Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund to join Manchester United after years of rumours.

Heading into his time at Old Trafford, expectations for Sancho were high, with many picking him as a player who could have gone on to be one of the best in the post Alex Ferguson era.

Instead, Sancho has had a difficult time at United, struggling to find a regular place in the team under several managers, leading to him spending most of his recent time away from the club on loan.

Ahead of his contract expiring at the end of the season, it has long been reported that Sancho could leave United in the upcoming transfer window, and we might now know his ideal next club.

Since January 2024, Sancho has spent his footballing career away from United during loan spells with former club Dortmund, Premier League rivals Chelsea and current club Aston Villa.

But it doesn't appear that the Englishman is set to join any of his loan clubs, as his sudden and unexpected visit to Istanbul has led to a report that he is eyeing up a move to join a Turkish side in the new year.

According to CaughtOffside, Sancho and his team held 'discreet but meaningful discussions' with representatives from Fenerbahce, Galatasaray, and Besiktas during the international break.

The meetings are said to have taken place inside a luxury hotel in Istanbul, each of the clubs presenting Sancho with their long-term plans and vision for the United forward.

Although it is currently unclear which of the three Turkish giants lead the race for Sancho's signature, he is reportedly willing to take a pay cut in order to facilitate a move that would allow him to continue his career.

As it stands, Sancho earns more than £13million per season at Man United, but the report claims that his current expectations ahead of his move would see him accept a salary between £7-8 million.

Which other clubs are linked with Jadon Sancho?

With Sancho's time at United certainly coming to an end, it is not only Fenerbahce, Galatasaray, and Besiktas that are interested in securing his signature in 2026, with clubs from across Europe and beyond linled.

Tottenham Hotspur, Juventus and several clubs in the Saudi Pro League have been linked with a move, however, it is currently believed that the Turkish Super League trio have the advantage in the race for Sancho as they are the most willing to commit to the financial requirements a deal would bring.
