Ruben Amorim may be back in the Premier League next season as a club have reportedly identified him as a top target.
After 14 months in charge at Old Trafford, Amorim was sacked from his position as Manchester United head coach in January.
The Portuguese manager, who was appointed to replace Erik ten Hag in November 2024, winning only 31.9% of his matches in all competitions, the worst win ratio of any permanent United boss.
Since leaving United, Amorim has taken some time away from the spotlight, leaving questions over when we would next see him in the dugout.

But now, it appears he could have the chance to make a stunning Premier League return as soon as this summer as one club are considering him as one of the top candidates for next season.
According to TeamTalk, Amorim is on Crystal Palace's radar as the club consider their options ahead of current boss Oliver Glasner leaving at the end of the season.
Just days after Amorim was sacked at United, Glasner confirmed he would leave Palace when his contract expires at the end of the season following a fallout with club officials.
Therefore, the London side have had plenty of time to prepare for life without the Austrian manager, drawing up a shortlist that reportedly contains Amorim's name among four others.
Current Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola, who is also set to leave when his contract expires in the summer, is believed to be another name under consideration.
Both Iraola and Amorim are currently out of contract in the summer and therefore would be able to start work with Palace straight away without the club having to pay compensation to another side to make the appointment.
Although Iraola is expected to take up another job almost immediately, Amorim is yet to speak out following his departure from United, with his plans regarding a return to management still unknown.
Amorim has also been linked with a return to management at former club Benfica who he made 154 appearances for over a six-year period until 2015.
Former Brentford boss Thomas Frank and ex-Tottenham striker Robbie Keane, who has impressed while managing Hungarian side Ferencvaros, are also on the list.
Meanwhile Chelsea legend Frank Lampard, who led Coventry to Premier League promotion with a 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers on April 17, is believed to be Palace's top target to take charge at Selhurst Park.
The former England star has come close to taking charge at Palace before, but a move now could be challenging with Coventry reluctant to let him go ahead of their Premier League return.
