Ruben Amorim is reportedly planning to bring one talented youngster into the Manchester United after he impressed during the new manager's first week at the club.

Former Sporting manager Amorim officially joined United last week, replacing interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy who stood in as United boss after Erik ten Hag was sacked last month.

Since his arrival, the Portuguese manager has spoken out about the importance of working as a team and rebuilding an identity for United, something that many fans have suggested has been missing for several years.

With that in mind, it has now been reported that the new United boss is considering 'fast tracking' one youngster at the club after he impressed Amorim during his first week at the club.

According to GIVEMESPORT, Amorim has developed a plan in for Chido Obi-Martin after a series of talks with three senior club officials.

United secured a the huge signing of the talented 16-year-old over the summer, taking him from Premier League rivals Arsenal.

In his 18 games with the Gunners U18s, Obi-Martin scored an incredible 32 goals but decided to embrace a new challenge at Old Trafford.

And following Amorim's meeting with technical director Jason Wilcox, academy head Nick Cox and coach Darren Fletcher, the Danish youngster's bet on himself may have paid off.

As soon as he arrived at the club, Amorim was reportedly handed several rave reviews of the 16-year-old striker by Manchester United youth coaches.

Therefore, the new manager has decided to introduced the teenager into some Under-21 games and bring him into some first-team training sessions to allow him to join the senior team in the near future.

Should be continue to put in performances like that, it is likely only a matter of time before United fans can expect to see the Obi-Martin's name included in Amorim's matchday squads.
