Manchester United have reportedly decided on Ruben Amorim's future after the defeat against Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final.
All eyes were on the San Mames in Bilbao on Wednesday night as United and Spurs locked horns in an all-English Europa League showdown.
During what was largely a cagey affair, Spurs came away 1-0 winners thanks to Brennan Johnson's goal in the 42nd minute.
As a result, the North London club ended their 17-year wait for a trophy and also secured a place in next season's Champions League.

After the final whistle, United boss Amorim made a huge claim about his future, stating he will not require any compensation if the Red Devils decide to part ways.
He said: "I have nothing to show to the fans, so in this moment it is a little bit of faith (that is required). Let's see (on the future). Like I said before, I am always open.
"If the board and fans feel that I am not the right guy, I will go in the next day without any conversation about compensation, but I will not quit."

On Thursday morning, BBC Sport football reporter Simon Stone delivered an update regarding United's stance on Amorim's future.
He wrote on social media: "No change to previous @ManUtd position following last night's press conference. Club and ownership still behind Ruben Amorim and feel the fans are too."

Expanding on what the defeat means for the club moving forward, Amorim said: "It's in the future, I'm not going to talk about the future. [I will talk about] this loss, the pain of losing this match.
"I share the pain with our fans. They deserve better. We will try everything about the future, we will see what we are going to do."
He continued: "We need to understand it’s tough for a club like ours not to be in the Champions League. But we have to use the other side. We will have more time to think, to work during the week, and to be better in the Premier League. That will be our focus."
