Wolves star Matheus Cunha has treated two of his teammates to a spectacular gift ahead of his expected move to Manchester United.

Having enjoyed a spectacular season with current club Wolverhampton Wanderers, star striker Cunha appears to be set to secure the biggest move of his career this summer.

After a somewhat public fallout with Wolves, it is now almost certain that the Brazilian will join Manchester United ahead of next season.

A recent post from transfer guru Fabrizio Romano confirmed that United will trigger Cunha's £62.5 million release clause, allowing him to join without negotiating with Wolves.

But before leaving the Molineux, Cunha made sure to buy two of his Wolves teammates a heartwarming gift thanking them for their time spent together at the midlands club.

During his time with Wolves, Cunha clearly become close with national teammates Joao Gomes and Andre, and he's made it clear that he will miss them both by giving them each a Rolex as a leaving gift.

In a video posted on his Instagram story, Gomes showed off the watch alongside a message from his teammate, reading: "Thank you for all the moments. You will forever be in my heart. I will always be rooting for you and your family. I love you, JG.”

Captioning the story, Gomes added: This right here hits the nail!! A sincere friendship is more valuable than any trophies and titles. I love you my friend, straight talk. Cunha thanks for everything bro.

“I promised we wouldn’t be outclassed and he promised a Rolex!! Man of his word."

Gomes also revealed that Cunha had purchased a similar gift for their fellow Brazilian Andre.

It is not yet known when Cunha will officially unveilved as a United player, but reports in recent days appear to have confirmed that it is now a matter of when it will happen, not if.

The 25-year-old is just one of several attacking players expected to join United in the summer, with the likes of Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap and Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo also linked.

Several attackers currently at United are also expected to leave Old Trafford this season, with both Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho certain departures.
