Manchester United fans have noticed Patrick Dorgu liked an Instagram post criticising head coach Ruben Amorim, just days after a humiliating defeat to Everton
United suffered their fourth league loss of the season on Monday night, losing 1-0 at home to ten-man Everton.
Idrissa Gueye was sent off after just 13 minutes for slapping his teammate Michael Keane, but Everton went ahead just before the half-hour mark thanks to Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
Despite having a numerical advantage for most of the match, United struggled to create chances and were booed off at full-time.

Dorgu started at left wing-back on Monday night, but was replaced by Diogo Dalot after 58 minutes following a difficult evening.
Now, the Danish defender has sparked controversy after liking an Instagram post criticising Amorim and two of his teammates.
The post includes a screenshot of a comment from X reading: "Any coach that sees Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes as a viable pivot is one that isn't serious."

Will Patrick Dorgu be punished?
Liking posts critical of his manager could be seen as undermining the authority Amorim has been trying to instil at Old Trafford since taking charge just over a year ago.

Amorim's predecessor Erik ten Hag dealt with similar situations and understood the importance of managing players' social media activity.
After Alejandro Garnacho was substituted at half-time during a match against Bournemouth in April 2024, he liked posts critical of the decision.
United described the incident as an "internal matter" and Ten Hag confirmed that Garnacho apologised.
"Alejandro is a young player and has to learn a lot," Ten Hag said.

"He apologised for it and after that we move on."
It is likely United will also handle Dorgu's activity internally.

Does Patrick Dorgu have a point?

Casemiro has improved this season, but at 33, he struggles to last more than an hour.
Bruno Fernandes is naturally an attacking midfielder and can lack the discipline to play a more defensive, box-to-box player.
However, Amorim has limited options in midfield.
Kobbie Mainoo is hugely popular amongst supporters but has disappointed this season.

The England international came off the bench against Everton but struggled to impact the match.
Meanwhile Manuel Ugarte has struggled to adjust to the Premier League since he moved from PSG in 2024.
Amorim previously coached Ugarte at Sporting CP and recently highlighted the Uruguayan's need to improve, particularly in training.
