Two Manchester United players have agreed to leave the club just days after they suffered a humiliating defeat at home to ten-man Everton.
United went into Monday night's match at Old Trafford knowing victory by a three-goal margin would see them move into the top four.
But they fell to a 1-0 loss, despite Everton being reduced to ten men after 13 minutes when Idrissa Gueye struck his own teammate Michael Keane.
It was United's fourth defeat of the league season after just 12 games, reigniting doubts surrounding head coach Ruben Amorim, over a year into his tenure

The Red Devils were missing several first-choice players, including Harry Maguire, Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko.
The absence of Cunha and Sesko gave Joshua Zirkzee an opportunity, as he made his first start of the season.
But the Dutch forward failed to seize his chance, with United struggling to break down Everton's resolute defensive block.

He came closest ten minutes from time, when Jordan Pickford tipped his header around the post.
Zirkzee has struggled since moving to Old Trafford in the summer of 2024 and prior to Monday night, had managed only 90 minutes of game time this season.
The forward has also fallen out of Ronald Koeman's Netherlands squad and understands he needs regular minutes if he is to make next summer's World Cup.
Now, according to Italian outlet Gazzetta, Zirkzee has said 'yes' to joining Roma.
They report that United will have to evaluate the Serie A club's offer, which includes a loan with an option to buy that would become mandatory if Roma qualify for the Champions League.
A move would see Zirkzee reunite with Gian Piero Gasperini, who he worked under at Atalanta.

It remains unclear whether United would allow a sale, given their lack of attacking options.
Summer signing Sesko is currently the club's only other recognised centre forward and is out for several weeks with a knee injury
Cunha, who has also played through the middle this season, missed Monday's match after picking up a knock in training.
The other player reportedly set to leave Old Trafford in January is young left-back Diego Leon.
The 18-year-old officially joined United in the summer from Cerro Porteno for £3.3 million.
Although he has been included in four first-team matchday squads this season, his game time has been restricted to the under-21s.
Now, the Daily Mail reports Leon is keen on leaving United on loan during the January transfer window.
French club Nice, who are also owned by INEOS, is described as an "ideal destination."
The report also claims that Sekou Kone and Ayden Heaven could go on loan.
