Manchester United are already pursuing their next summer transfer target after reaching an agreement to sign Bryan Mbuemo, with initial talks reportedly taking place over a deal worth around £17 million.
After weeks of speculation, it was finally confirmed on Friday afternoon that United have reached an agreement with Brentford to sign Mbeumo.
A deal worth up to £71 million has been struck, according to The Athletic, as the Cameroonian forward looks set to become the club's third signing of the summer following moves for Matheus Cunha and Diego Leon.
United are also in the hunt for a new goalkeeper following an injury to Andre Onana, who is expected to miss the rest of pre-season and potentially their opening Premier League clash against Arsenal following a hamstring knock.

Altay Bayindir and Tom Heaton are reliable back-up options, but it appears United are ready to make a move for highly-rated Royal Antwerp goalkeeper Senne Lammens.
Lammens is one of the most in-form goalkeepers in Europe. He not only recorded the most saves (127) and the highest save percentage (81.4%) in the Belgian Pro League last season, but also conceded 14.5 goals less than xG would predict.
Transfer expert Ben Jacobs claims Lammens is very much on United's radar and has been for some time. In fact, initial talks have already taken place this summer, with interest dating back to January.

Antwerp, meanwhile, value the Belgian shot-stopper at around £17 million.
Lammens opened up on United's interest and how he would suit the Premier League during an interview with Belgian outlet Gazet van Antwerpen this year.
"The first time I heard I thought, 'Wow'," Lammens said.
"Immediately a world [renowned] team that follows you. That is special. Of course, I was also spoken to about it a lot and when I made a save in training, it was United this, United that [from colleagues].

"It's only positive," he added. "Especially because it's the best competition in the world and my profile, my stature and way of playing, is similar to English football. You have to physically hold your own there and that suits me."
In recent weeks, United have been linked with several goalkeeping options, including Aston Villa's Emiliano Martínez, although transfer expert Fabrizio Romano appeared to pour cold water over an imminent move.
“Manchester United have not made any bid,” said Romano on his YouTube channel. “Aston Villa sources also guarantee that they’ve not received any official bid from Manchester United.

“United spoke to Martinez’s representatives several times to be informed about the situation of the player. But this already happened in June. It’s not yesterday or today or this week.”
He added: “At the moment there are still no club-to-club negotiations. But Man United are aware of the situation of Emi Martinez. He could be open to joining.”
