Youri Tielemans was unveiled as Manchester United's second summer signing on Tuesday, and only hours after confirming his arrival, INEOS 'open talks' for a third.
It's been an incredibly busy start to the week at Old Trafford. On Monday, Man United confirmed the capture of Andrey Santos from Chelsea in a deal worth a reported £48million plus £2million in add-ons.
Shortly after that announcement, United were in advanced talks to sign Tielemans after triggering the £35m release clause in his Aston Villa contract.
In truth, news of the Red Devils wanting Tielemans came out of nowhere, but a transfer was wrapped up quickly, with the 29-year-old signing a five-year contract at the club.

Man United have secured two midfield signings for a combined £83m, though Michael Carrick wants to reinforce his engine room even more after Manuel Ugarte suffered knee ligament damage in Uruguay's World Cup defeat to Spain last month.
Fabrizio Romano revealed earlier this week that the 20-time Premier League champions are working on signing a third midfielder, with several reports suggesting that is Roma's Manu Kone.
The 25-year-old, who came off the bench for France at half-time during their semi-final defeat to Spain on Tuesday, has impressed throughout the tournament and is available for around £51m.
According to talkSPORT, the Italian giants have been contacted by multiple clubs regarding their prized asset after France's World Cup dream ended, and Man United are one of them.
A defensive-midfield destroyer, but also an incredible ball carrier, Kone produced consistent performances across 37 appearances last term and would add some much-needed steel to Carrick's midfield.
Man United also face competition from Premier League rivals Liverpool for his signature, although regardless of what happens, it seems likely he will leave the Serie A side.
Gian Piero Gasperini confirms Roma could sell Manu Kone
Should United confirm the addition of Kone, it will take their spending to £135m purely on midfield construction.
Having missed out on Elliot Anderson, Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes to their rivals, INEOS will be pleased to get multiple transfers over the line for a fraction of the price.

Man United have also put the transfer of Ederson on hold due to a concern over a knee injury sustained last season, despite agreeing a £38m fee with Atalanta.
The chance of the Red Devils re-entering a deal for the Brazilian will decrease dramatically if Kone becomes their third summer signing, and it appears Roma have already accepted he will depart.
“Unlike [Donyell] Malen, he was sidelined for a while due to injury and arrived at the World Cup in better shape. Last year he hadn’t played for France yet, and he managed to earn a starting spot, which shows his true worth,” Gian Piero Gasperini told Rai Radio Uno.
“His future? I think these Financial Fair Play conditions are never so precise and defined; they vary from team to team.
“Roma also need to balance the books, which have been burdensome in recent years.
“I hoped that returning to the Champions League would be enough, but it’s clear that financial statements are crucial for clubs. I believe there will be more clarity in the coming weeks.”
The door is open for United to swoop for the France international, and based on his performances last season and at the World Cup, £51m could be a bargain.
