A section of Manchester United fans could be heard serenading Kobbie Mainoo with a new chant as he collected the Player of the Match award for his performance against Liverpool.
Mainoo, who signed a new five-year contract at his boyhood club this week, netted a 77th-minute winner on Sunday as Michael Carrick's side ran out 3-2 winners.
United took an early two-goal lead through Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko. However, after a poor first-half display from the visitors, Dominik Szoboszlai managed to make it 2-1 before Cody Gapko levelled the scores.
Then, with 77 minutes on the clock, Mainoo scored his first goal of the season to ensure United's qualification for next season's Champions League.

It was a goal that capped off a superb performance from the 21-year-old midfielder, who was handed the Player of the Match award during his post-match interview with Sky Sports.
"I saw a couple of my family members [in the crowd]," he said. "Yeah, it's a blessing to be able to play here, to be able to score here. I used to dream of times like this, so [younger Kobbie] would have been over the moon."

During the interview, a section of United supporters from the Stretford End could be heard singing Mainoo's new chant, which is belted out to the tune of "Love Really Hurts Without You" by Billy Ocean.
The lyrics are as followed: "Mainoo, United can't play without you, United can't play without you. And you're breaking my heart, when you don't start. Mainoo, United can't play without you, United can't play without you."
One fan commented on the fan footage below, saying: "Mainoo finally has a chant and it’s to a banger as well," and another wrote: "Absolute belter."
A third said: "Obviously extremely biased here but we are by far the best and most original club when it comes to chants," while a fourth commented: "Finally a Mainoo chant and it actually slaps."
A fifth added: "Old Trafford needs to be singing this from minute one next game. Share this everywhere."
Fans loved what stadium announcer said after Kobbie Mainoo's goal vs Liverpool
Alan Keegan, who has been the stadium announcer at Old Trafford for more than 25 years, delivered a special message after Mainoo scored the winner against Liverpool.
Before saying his name over the tannoy, Keegan described him as being "Manchester born and bred", a rare addition to his usual response of simply saying the goalscorer's full name.
Those inside Old Trafford picked up on the announcement, including Tyrone Marshall, who wrote: "Mainoo's first goal since scoring against Lyon. 'Manchester born and bred', announces Alan Keegan. What a week for him."
