How much Man Utd will be paying Jadon Sancho during his Borussia Dortmund loan as details emerge

How much Manchester United will pay Jadon Sancho during his loan spell at Borussia Dortmund has emerged.

The 23-year-old has not played since falling out with Erik ten Hag in September.

Sancho was left out of the matchday squad for September's 3-1 defeat to Arsenal after Ten Hag questioned his efforts in training.

He's refused to apologise to his manager after claiming he's been made a 'scapegoat' in a now-deleted statement.

It's seen the club decide a temporary move away would be beneficial for all parties.

Dortmund remain in talks with United over a deal for Sancho, who moved to Old Trafford from the German giants in a £73 million move in 2021.

Sancho's currently on £290,000-per-week at United, above Dortmund's available finances.

The winger has failed to justify being one of the Red Devils' highest earners during his time in England.

In two-and-a-half years, Sancho has scored 12 goals and registered six assists.

Per the Daily Mail, Dortmund have insisted United pay a third of Sancho's currently salary.

That means they'll be contributing £100,000 towards the England international's wages as he looks to get his career back on track.

Sources have claimed Dortmund will be covering most of Sancho's wages, in addition to extra fees based on appearances and if they qualify for the Champions League.

There is no obligation to buy at the end of Sancho's deal. During his absence, United have struggled in front of goal.

Scott McTominay is their top goalscorer in the Premier League with five, while all their other forwards have struggled.

Antony, Amad Diallo and Facundo Pellistri are yet to open their accounts for the campaign.

There are no ongoing discussions regarding transfers in January as United battle against FFP restrictions.

Regarding outgoings, United have already loaned out Donny van de Beek to Eintracht Frankfurt and cancelled Tottenham Hotspur full-back Sergio Reguilon's short-term loan deal.

Hannibal Mejbri is expected to depart after turning down the chance to represent Tunisia at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Everton and Sevilla are battling it out for the midfielder, who came off the bench in United's 2-0 win over Wigan Athletic on Monday evening.
