Manchester United legend Gary Neville has been criticised for his reaction to Harry Maguire's winning goal at Anfield.
On Sunday, Manchester United travelled to Anfield as they faced historic rivals Liverpool in one one of the most highly-anticipated matches of the Premier League season.
With the pressure on Ruben Amorim building, the United boss would have no doubt been ecstatic when winger Bryan Mbeumo controversially took the lead just minutes into the first half.
However, the hosts weren't prepared to give up yet as Cody Gakpo found an equaliser as Liverpool piled on the pressure in the hopes of a late comeback.

But it wasn't to be as unlikely hero Maguire scored a winning goal for United in the final moments, and Sky Sports commentator Neville couldn't contain his excitement.
As has been the case for each of the recent meetings between United and Liverpool, Sky Sports duo Neville and Jamie Carragher were on commentary for the clash between their former clubs.
And as soon as his former club scored what was almost certainly a winning goal, Neville couldn't hold himself back as he let out an elated scream and shouting 'Yes!', angering fans online.

Responding to Neville's reaction to Maguire's goal, one fan claimed on X: "Mate Sky have to have a word with Gary Neville. Arsenal score the other week he going "no no no" down the mic. United just score today and he's screaming like 2013 KSI.
"If you can't be impartial pack it up man, sick of it."
Another added: "Gary Neville screaming down his microphone. Sky Sports hits a new low."
With an Arsenal fan agreeing, writing: "Get Gary Neville off commentating duties, far too emotional and biased, ridiculous to hear his squeaky celebrations after that goal, Bore off."
The loss means that Liverpool have now lost four consecutive matches in all competitions and leaves them third on the table, four points behind Premier League leaders Arsenal.

Meanwhile Amorim becomes the first manager to lead United to victory at Anfield since Louis van Gaal in January 2016, despite the efforts of five different managers across a period of 10 matches in the Premier League and European competitions
