Manchester United fans were shocked after footage of Amad emerged on social media.
Man United are currently on their post-season tour of Asia and fell to a 1-0 defeat against the ASEAN All-Stars.
Ruben Amorim’s side will take on the Hong Kong national team on Friday afternoon (May 29).

Of course, the latest defeat was partly down to the fact that the United boss made 11 substitutions during the game.
Amorim, 40, gave his thoughts after the game as boos could be heard from the stands of the Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur.

"I always feel guilty of the performance of the team since I am here in the first game," Amorim said, as per The Manchester Evening News.

"I feel guilty, then the boos from the fans, maybe it is something we need because every game that we lost in the Premier League, they were always there. I felt when we finished every time the supporters were with us. Let's see for next season.
"We should perform better. We were slow, we don’t have in us to win every exercise in training, and every game, the important thing is we had no injuries."
Amorim added: "With some players it was a risk, but we wanted to show respect to the fans. We should win these kind of games."
But it was not just United’s poor performance that got fans talking.

A video of Amad, 22, emerged online which appeared to show him making a gesture while walking through a crowd of fans.
The 22-year-old winger raised his middle finger, however, this appears to be an inside joke/gesture among the United players despite the negative connotations associated with the gesture in the UK.
Fans were quick to give their thoughts on social media.

One said: "Maybe it's a trend or something that I'm not aware of? Maybe."
A second added: "Everything I’ve seen from this tour has looked disastrous."
While a third claimed: "That’s really not okay. Even if fans get on your nerves, players should always stay respectful. It’s just the right thing to do."
A fourth commented: "Maybe someone said something he didn’t like? Trying to help him out but that looks really bad and disrespectful."
