Manchester United forward Amad has responded to a now-deleted social media post that claimed he visited his 'pregnant wife' following the club's 2-2 draw against Nottingham Forest.
The 23-year-old scored an exceptional 81st-minute volley on Saturday to rescue a point for Ruben Amorim's side, who extended their unbeaten run to four matches at the City Ground.
Casemiro put United ahead with a first-half header but after Morgan Gibbs-White and Nicola Savona scored a quickfire double, the visitors needed a moment of magic from Amad to level the scores.
Speaking after the full-time whistle, the Ivorian backed Amorim's system as he reflected on a frustrating afternoon.

"Honestly we are really disappointed to go home with one point," he said. "We were in a good moment, winning three games in a row. We wanted to do the fourth, but we can learn from this and then try to do the best next time."

Amad added: "As a team, we are learning every day with the manager, with Ruben, because we believe in his system. But I think today we are really disappointed because as a team we demand a lot."

The post, which is said to have included an AI-generated picture, read: "Amad Diallo visits his pregnant wife after the weekend game. Impossible not to love them [red love heart emoji and goat emoji]."
After it circulated online, Amad played down the claim before asking people to respect his privacy. He wrote: "Spreading false information will not help you promote your page. A bit respect for my privacy."
Ruben Amorim gives his take on Amad situation
Amad's role in the team has been questioned by some. Known for his ability going forward, Amorim's positional 5-2-3 system relies heavily on wing-backs who can stretch the pitch and defend as well as attack.

Jamie Carragher recently suggested Amad is "probably more suited" to being a winger rather than a wing-back, but Ruben Amorim was full of praise for the Ivorian's performance in that role on Saturday.
"Amad has a lot of talent, he is growing up really fast. I think we have a lot of players that are young and talented but we need to help in all the details," said Amorim in his post-match interview.
"He is improving a lot, he can play in different positions, I think he can be so much better. More consistent in every detail, when he receives the ball, in build-up, when he is in the final third."

Amorim added: "You could see in the first half he had some opportunities. In a lot of games, he has that opportunity coming inside and the shot is not there yet. We are working on that, so he has potential to do better."
