A new report has revealed how Ruben Amorim's wife reacted after her husband was sacked by Manchester United.
Amorim parted ways with United on the morning of January 5, less than 24 hours after walking out of his own press conference following the club's 1-1 draw against Leeds.
It was a turbulent 14-month spell in charge, with the Portuguese head coach walking away with a record of 24 wins in 63 matches - the third-lowest of any permanent manager in United's history.
Amorim also walked away with a £10 million pay-off, according to the Mail, and soon returned to his native Portugal after boarding a private jet to Lisbon on January 10.

Details around the days following his departure have been scarce.
Amorim and his wife, Maria, greeted a group of photographers as they headed out for a walk, just a day after the sacking. But they have barely seen in public since, with the manager yet to break his silence over this month's dismissal.
Now, a report from The Sun has provided further insight into the aftermath of Amorim's sacking, as well as the family's stay in Manchester.
It is said that the down-to-earth Maria struck up friendships with a number of mums at the school their children attended, and she had 'no airs and graces', according to one of the mums.
Maria also sent a message to the 'school mum WhatsApp group' after her husband's sacking was confirmed. According to the report, the message read: “We are out of here!”
But before they hopped on a private jet to Lisbon, Ruben and his wife wanted to show their appreciation to teachers and classmates of their children, so they bought them parting gifts.
Locals who got to know Amorim and his family had all but good things to say. In fact, they were reportedly 'a dream' to live next to.
Ruben Amorim said he 'loved living in England' after squashing rumours
Back in October, Amorim played down the suggestion that his wife had been speaking to the media about the pressures he was facing as United head coach.
"I see a lot of things that my wife is talking with the media. That is such nonsense," he said.
"Nobody in my family talks about that. We love living in England. You have no idea what is abuse here because you are so polite compared to my country where we are losing. So you have no idea."
Amorim added: "My family is really happy. It's just me and my family that is struggling because I hate losing and I hate failing."
