A number of clubs are being linked with a move for Kevin De Bruyne after the midfielder confirmed his Manchester City departure.

The 33-year-old, who has lifted six Premier League titles with City, as well as five League Cups, two FA Cups and a Champions League, announced on Friday morning that he will leave Pep Guardiola's side at the end of the 2024/25 campaign.

In an emotional letter to the club's fans, De Bruyne wrote: "Dear Manchester, Seeing this, you probably realise where this is heading. So I'll get straight to it and let you all know that these will be my final months as a Manchester City player.

"Nothing about this is easy to write, but as football players, we all know this day eventually comes. That day is here- and you deserve to hear it from me first."

He added: "Football led me to all of you-and to this city. Chasing my dream, not knowing this period would change my life. This city. This club. These people... gave me EVERYTHING. I had no choice but to give EVERYTHING back! And guess what we won EVERYTHING. Whether we like it or not, it's time to say goodbye."

De Bruyne's next club odds emerge, featuring PSG and Bayern Munich

At this moment in time, it appears a move to Saudi Arabia is the most likely option for the 33-year-old midfielder.

In fact, a report from French publication Foot Mercato suggests De Bruyne has engaged in "serious" and "positive" talks to join Saudi second-division side Neom SC, who currently have former West Ham midfielder Said Benrahma in their ranks.

The report also claims the likes of River Plate, Fenerbahce, Galatasaray and MLS side San Diego FC are also interested.

In fact, San Diego have been tracking the Belgian midfielder for some time. Last summer, The Athletic reported a 'mutual interest' between the club and De Bruyne, with the player then preferring a move to Major League Soccer over the Saudi Pro League.

But links to Neom SC have become more prominent in recent weeks as they look set to achieve promotion to Saudi's top division.

As per Oddschecker, Bruyne is most likely to join any Major League Soccer team in the summer at 9/10, while a transfer to any Saudi Arabian club is currently priced up at 7/4 with Bet365.

Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain are also one of the favourites to sign De Bruyne at 6/1, alongside Bayern Munich [9/1], River Plate [18/1] and former club Wolfsburg, who are priced at 25/1 with a number of bookies.
