Liverpool's new signing has confirmed his future plans at the club and it means one current player will almost definitely be sold in the summer.
Having enjoyed a historic season under Arne Slot, Liverpool are expected to go all out and sign several new players in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Bayer Leverkusen star Jeremie Frimpong is expected to be announced as the Reds first new addition in the coming days, while deals for Bournemouth's Milos Kerkez and German International Florian Wirtz remain in the works.

But before any of these three players are potentially revealed as new Liverpool players, Georgian goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili is expected to finally arrive at Anfield having signed for the Reds last summer.
And ahead of his imminent arrival, the star goalkeeper has provided an important update on his future plans, and it's not a good sign for one player currently at the club.

As soon as Liverpool's £29m deal for Mamardashvili was announced in August last year, it became clear that either he or current no.2 goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher was not trusted to takeover from Alisson Becker in the near future.

The 24-year-old spent this season on loan with previous club Valencia, but in a new interview has confirmed that he will return to Anfield this summer and won’t be seeking another loan deal next season.
Speaking to Georgian journalist Geo Team, via Fabrizio Romano, he said: "“I’m not considering another loan move. I will spend next season at Liverpool.
“I’ll go to Liverpool and give my all, just like I did at Valencia. I’ll work hard every single day, training with Alisson will help me.”

Although Liverpool fans will undoubtedly be excited to finally see the goalkeeper in action next season, it almost certainly confirms that Kelleher will depart in the summer.
The Irishman has played for Liverpool several times this season, but has previously made it clear that he would be eager for a move elsewhere to secure more minutes.
Speaking in a press conference while on international duty in September, Kelleher said: “I made it clear in the last few years that I want to go somewhere and be a number one. The club has made that decision to get a goalkeeper (Mamardashvili) which makes it look like they’ve made a decision to go another direction.
“Liverpool have rejected a few bids as well. It’s not always in my hands to fully make the decision. My ambition is clear. I’m good enough & I want to go and play week in, week out.”
