Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez has sent Liverpool fans into meltdown with his reply to a journalist who questioned why he was not among the Premier League Young Player of the Season nominees.
The Hungary international has had a superb season for the Cherries, with the 21-year-old regarded as one of the world's brightest up-and-coming full-backs.
Kerkez has been heavily linked with Liverpool over recent months as the Reds search for a long-term Andy Robertson replacement.

Speaking on Sky Sports News, David Ornstein has reported that Kerkez is on 'top of the list' for Liverpool as they prepare for a potentially significant summer transfer window.
The Hungarian is understood to have a release clause of £50 million and, with Liverpool also said to be keen on signing £35 million-rated Bayer Leverkusen wing-back Jeremie Frimpong, the Reds could complete deals on each flank and still have funds remaining for other targets.

Kerkez hasn't exactly been subtle about his desire to move to a club playing in Europe, telling The Athletic in March: "As a kid, you dream to play at the highest level, win the trophies, be on the best teams... In the summer, we will see what happens."

Now, the Hungarian has fuelled speculation further with his reply to a local journalist on social media.
After spotting that Kerkez was not included among the eight nominees for the Premier League's Young Player of the Season award, Bence Bocsak wrote: "Kerkez should be on the shortlist at the very least.
"Ridiculous he didn't get a nomination after the season he has had. He ranks third for goal contributions among players aged 21 or younger and he's a full-back."
Kerkez responded: "Don't worry, someone else saw it." He added a wink-face emoji at the end of his post.

While the post does not explicitly point out the 'someone' he is referring to, Liverpool fans took it to mean one thing.
One wrote: "Was that someone, Arne [Slot]?"
Another said: "Welcome to Anfield."

A third added: "Kerkez x Frimpong. My new FB partnership which will storm the PL."
And a fourth wrote: "You'll win it at Liverpool next year."
