Paris Saint-Germain may have already decided on their next star signing, and it's not good news for one Premier League side.

Following a dramatic clash with Arsenal at the Puskas Arena in Budapest, Hungary, Paris Saint-Germain reasserted themselves as the best team in Europe by winning the 2025/25 Champions League.

In doing so, the Parisian side became just the the 10th club to win successive titles in the Champions League/ European Cup, joining the likes of Real Madrid, AC Milan, Bayern Munich and Liverpool.

With players like Ousmane Dembele, Vitinha, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Achraf Hakimi making up the spine of the PSG team, it's no surprise that Luis Enrique's side is among the best in the world.

And it appears that they're preparing to add another formidable name to their squad, and it could make PSG a completely unstoppable force.

Across the 2025/26 Premier League season there were several standout stars, with Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes awarded the Premier League's Player of the Season award after breaking the record for the most assists in a single season.

However, perhaps the biggest surprise of the season was Bournemouth youngster Eli Junior Kroupi Jr, who set record for the most goals scored by a teenager in a debut season after arriving last summer for just £12million.

The 19-year-old scored 13 goals in 33 matches for Bournemouth and is now firmly on PSG'S radar.

According to French outlet L'Equipe, PSG are hoping to bring another French attacking talent to the Parc des Princes in the summer of 2026, and Kroupi Jr is the perfect option.

However, despite boasting a strong relationship with Bournemouth after signing Illia Zabarnyi last summer, it is believed that Tiago Pinto, the Bournemouth's sporting director, has no intention of letting his promising young player go without a fight.

The promising striker currently under contract until 2030, meaning Bournemouth hold all the cards in negotiations, despite the fact that Kroupi Jr himself is believed to have made it clear in private that he's eager to join a major European club.

PSG linked with summer move for Liverpool transfer target

With various attacking players like Gonçalo Ramos and Lee Kang-in expected to leave PSG in the coming months, the club could be forced to splash out on their front line.

Alongside Kroupi Jr, PSG have been linked with Maghnes Akliouche (Monaco), Yan Diomande (Leipzig) and even Julian Alvarez (Atletico de Madrid) as Enrique looks to build a truly unbeatable team.

A move for Diomande would no doubt be a blow for Liverpool, who have strongly been linked with the Reds after scoring 12 goals and registered eight assists during his debut Bundesliga season

But with RB Leipzing reportedly looking for up to £87million for the 19-year-old, it remains to be seen if Liverpool will make a move this summer.
