Jurgen Klopp's next move after Liverpool revealed by club legend following 'personal conversation'

Jurgen Klopp's next move after Liverpool revealed by club legend following 'personal conversation'

Jurgen Klopp's next step has been seemingly revealed by Liverpool legend.

Liverpool legend Mark Lawrenson has revealed what Jurgen Klopp will be doing after he leaves Liverpool after the German personally told him his plans.

Klopp announced he will be leaving Liverpool after nine years as manager on Friday morning, with an emotional video message to supporters letting them know his decision.

The German revealed in the video that one of the reasons behind his shock decision was due to 'running out of energy' after over two decades as a manager.

The only information Klopp let slip when he faced the media on Friday is that he would not manage another English club other than Liverpool.

"I can promise that. Even if I have nothing to eat, it will not happen," He reiterated.

The 56-year-old avoided any other questions on where his future could take him, but former Liverpool player Mark Lawrenson believes he knows exactly what Klopp is going to be up to.

Speaking on Off the Ball, Lawrenson revealed: "I'm not sure I should tell you this but it's not a massive secret. He's having a house built in Mallorca"

He added: "I have a house somewhere not far away from where he's building his, and I saw him the other month, and I just said to him after the game "how's the house going on?

"Ulla, his wife, is in charge of everything in terms of that, and he just said "the bloody thing's not even ready yet, and I'm paying all the bills!" So he's probably going to retreat to there for a while, I would suggest.

"I can tell you now, it's not a nice gaff, it's an absolutely fabulous gaff. It's sensational, it really seriously is," Lawrenson joked.

The property spans 5,000 square meters, and Klopp made the decision to undertake a complete rebuild of it. However, the project is still ongoing and remains unfinished.

It is reported that Klopp purchased the property back in 2022 for around four million euros(£3.4m) from Swiss businessman and artist Rolf Knie.
