Jamie Carragher has responded to a football reporter who claimed he made 'unnecessary jibes' about Mohamed Salah on Monday Night Football.
Carragher gave a near eight-minute monologue on the show, in response to an interview given by Salah after Liverpool's 3-3 draw at Leeds on Saturday.
The Egyptian told a Norwegian TV reporter that he felt he had been 'thrown under the bus' by Liverpool, and now doesn't 'have any relationship' with manager Arne Slot.
He added: "I don't know why, but it seems to me, how I see it, that someone doesn't want me in the club."

Carragher labelled Salah's interview as a 'disgrace', adding: "I think when he stops in the mixed zone, it's choreographed with him, and his agent, to cause maximum damage and to strengthen his own position."
He questioned Salah over his lack of success with Chelsea and Egypt, as well as his tracking back at Liverpool.
He added: "He's a superstar and he's scored 250 goals and he's given me, as a Liverpool supporter, some of the greatest nights of my life.
"No matter how good a player you are, you need help from your team-mates, your manager and your fans. And I think it's important he remembers that. It's always 'me, me, me'."
In response to the comments, talkSPORT presenter and reporter Hugh Woozencroft, who also hosts ITV's EFL highlights show, wrote on Twitter: "Agreed with a lot of this but there were some unnecessary jibes.
"Mentioning how much he's been paid & how he was seen before he got to Liverpool - as if HE should be grateful. He earned his money without question & Liverpool hadn't won a league title for almost three decades."
Carragher hit back, writing: "They weren't jibes, you & others have completely missed the point, which was no matter how good you are we all need help from the club, players & fans to be successful.
"He's been amazing for LFC & LFC have been amazing for him. Which I was just reminding him."

Amid the fallout between Liverpool and Salah, the Egypt forward has been left out of the travelling squad to take on Inter Milan in the Champions League on Tuesday.
He has not commented since giving the interview, though Salah posted a photo of himself in training at the AXA Training Centre on Tuesday morning.

Speaking on Monday, manager Arne Slot said: "After tomorrow we will look at the situation. There is always the possibility to return for a player.
"I have no clue [if he has played his last game]. I cannot answer that question at this point in time.
"It is hard for me to know who he was talking about [the 'someone doesn't want me at the club' comment]. That is not the way I feel.
"He has the right to feel the way he does, but he does not have the right to share it with the media.
"He was very respectful and has trained really hard before the weekend. To that extent, it was a surprise to me the comments he gave."
