Jamie Carragher was involved in an awkward moment during his rant about Mohamed Salah live on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football.
Ahead of Manchester United’s Premier League clash against Wolves at Molineux, Carragher, anchor Dave Jones, and Spurs midfielder James Maddison discussed the weekend’s Premier League fixtures.
And with Liverpool throwing away a two-goal lead against Leeds United, eventually drawing 3-3 at Elland Road, attention quickly turned to the struggling Reds, with Carragher weighing in with his thoughts.
Of course, he was quickly asked about his thoughts on Salah’s explosive post-match interview, which took place in the mixed zone of Elland Road, during which he hinted that he and head coach Arne Slot no longer have a relationship.

The Egyptian also claimed he had been “thrown under the bus” before suggesting his final game for the club could be against Brighton at Anfield on December 13.
Salah has also been omitted from Liverpool’s squad ahead of their Champions League clash away at Inter on December 9.
And as expected, Carragher did not hold back, branding Salah’s behaviour a “disgrace”.

“I think when he stops in the mixed zone, it’s choreographed with him and his agent to cause maximum damage and strengthen his own position,” claimed the former Liverpool centre-back while speaking on Sky Sports.
The pundit then accused Salah of being selfish and claimed he had thrown the Liverpool right-back under the bus for the past eight years as a result of his lack of defensive work rate.
Carragher added: "No matter how good a player you are, you need help from your teammates, your manager and fans. And I think it’s important he remembers that. It’s always ‘me me me’.”
However, despite the 47-year-old seemingly tearing into the forward, fans on social media were left amused by a particularly awkward exchange between the former defender and host Jones.
Midway through the segment, Carragher asked: “Have I ever criticised Mo Salah on the pitch?”, after Jones recited Salah’s comments about him in his explosive interview.
Jones then replied: “Well, a couple of weeks ago you said his legs had gone,” to the amusement of fans on social media.
Several supporters weighed in with their thoughts on the exchange.
One said: “Man was so confident …. Dave Jones done him in less than a second.”
Another added: “Dave Jones is holding a slap in the break, hahahahaha.”
While a third claimed: “Haha, Dave Jones knocked him out with a single punch. Well played, Sir!”
As a fourth commented: “Dave straight in two-footed!”
It is unclear if Salah will play for Liverpool again, and given his recent comments, it appears unlikely.
However, speaking in a press conference on December 8, Slot said he had “no clue” if Salah had played his final game for Liverpool, but added that he was a “firm believer that there is always a possibility to return for a player”.
