Jamie Carragher has publicly hit back at a fan who claimed he hates one current Liverpool star.
It has been an eventful start to the 25/26 Premier League season for champions Liverpool.
So far, Arne Slot's men have won two matches out of two but relied to late goals from Federico Chiesa and Rio Ngumoha to beat Bournemouth and Newcastle United.
Despite maintaining a 100% record, Liverpool's defence has been placed under intense scrutiny.

Since pre-season, Liverpool have looked very open at the back, with both Bournemouth and Newcastle scoring twice against Slot's team.
In particular, centre-back Ibrahima Konate has been criticised by Carragher for his performances so far.
On social media, one fan said: "Konate was our best CB in some parts of last season. Carra has his list of players he hates. When they are in good form, he’s quiet. When bad he amplifies.
"The opposite with his favorites. Palmer after some good games is the best, when average for 6 months, Carra went quiet."

In response, Carragher hit back with: "He wasn’t! I don’t hate him, he’s a very good PL CB playing alongside the best CB the league has ever seen.
"That makes him & the others who have played alongside VVD look 20% better. When I judge top CB’s I think, could they lead & organise a back four? I do have doubts if VVD."
He added: "Was out for a period of time that Konate could lead a back four in big games, I’m well aware of his strengths aerially & pace wise. I also don’t believe that if Guehi signs he automatically takes Konate’s place."

Konate's future has also been questioned in recent weeks due to the fact that his contract is set to expire at the end of the season.
So far, the Frenchman has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, with the Spanish La Liga giants hoping to secure him on a free transfer next summer.
Meanwhile, this summer, Liverpool have added Italian youngster Giovanni Leoni to their ranks.
In addition, the Reds are also said to be interested in signing Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi, but are facing a race against the clock to get a deal agreed before Monday's transfer deadline.
