Barcelona midfielder Gavi has reportedly made a final decision on whether to join Manchester United this summer.
The 22-year-old missed a significant part of the 2025/26 season with a knee injury, having undergone surgery in October.
He returned in March to play a key part in Barcelona's run-in as they won the La Liga title, and was subsequently named in Spain's World Cup-winning squad.
His game time at the World Cup was restricted to a five-minute cameo in the group stage against Austria, and he was an unused substitute during the 1-0 final win over Argentina.

The midfielder hasn't featured during Barca's pre-season after his mandatory break following the tournament, and there has been speculation over his potential exit from the club.
Gavi 'makes Man Utd decision' after Michael Carrick interest
According to reports, his future at Camp Nou is not completely certain, and United had expressed a willingness to pay the asking price of around £35 million.
Michael Carrick's side are looking to bolster their midfield further following the departure of Casemiro on a free transfer and the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury suffered by Manuel Ugarte at the World Cup.
They have already signed Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans from Chelsea and Aston Villa respectively for a combined fee of over £70 million, but are eyeing a third midfield option.
He has also previously been linked with Liverpool, who are also believed to be eyeing another midfield option.
But the Daily Mirror report that, having heard of United's interest in him, Gavi has made it clear that he does not want to move to Old Trafford.
Barca boss Hansi Flick, meanwhile, is believed to be 'reluctant' to lose the 22-year-old, who is effectively still working his way back to full fitness following a series of injury issues - including an ACL injury suffered in 2023 that took him 346 days to recover from.
Gavi has previously praised Flick for his management of his comeback, stating he is 'very grateful' to the German boss.
He said in an interview with Mundo Deportivo in April 2025: "It's been a very tough process [returning from injury]. I've never had such a serious injury [as the ACL].
"It's incredibly difficult, especially being so young. But all the suffering has been worth it. I've learned a lot from this injury, especially how to channel my energy and control my emotions.
"Not every day was good. There were days when my knee wasn't as good. It's been a struggle, but when you achieve your goal, to play football again, which is what makes me happy, it's all worth it."
