A Premier League club are reportedly showing interest in a potential loan deal for Liverpool winger Federico Chiesa, who has also been linked with Celtic.
Chiesa, 27, joined Liverpool from Juventus for £10m last summer and penned a four-year contract at the Merseyside club.
However, things did not go as well as the Italy international may have liked during his first season in England, as he featured just 14 times, registering two goals and two assists.
Earlier this month, it was reported by Corriere dello Sport that Roma, Juventus, and Napoli were among several clubs considering a move for the 27-year-old, while earlier this week, Calcio Mercato claimed that Jose Mourinho-managed Fenerbahçe could also be an option.

Meanwhile, Scottish champions Celtic have also been linked with a move for the player as they look to defend their crown under Brendan Rodgers this term.

According to La Repubblica, the Scottish club is considering a loan move rather than a permanent switch, but could be rivalled by a shock Premier League side.
The report also claims that Marco Silva’s Fulham are in the running regarding a potential loan move, with the London club having signed just one player – goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte from Montpellier – so far this summer.

Chiesa’s Liverpool deal is set to run until June 2028, but if he remains at the club, he will likely continue to struggle for minutes, given the arrivals of new signings Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike in attacking areas. Mohamed Salah is undoubtedly Arne Slot’s first choice on the right flank.
The Italian opened up about his tough debut season during an interview with Corriere dello Sport in June.

Chiesa said: “There were plenty of difficulties in the first few months. If you think about it, I arrived in Liverpool on August 26th and found myself catapulted to another planet, with other teammates, without having trained with them, but with a coach, no friendlies, nothing... And, if you remember, in the autumn Liverpool were playing at three times the pace of the others, an incredible intensity."

When pressed about his future, he added: "The year is over. But it's an experience I'd do again. I'll soon sit down with the club, Fali (Ramadani, ed.), and my family to figure out the best solution. I wouldn't mind staying in Liverpool at all."
