SPORTbible simulated Alexander Isak, Hugo Ekitike and Florian Wirtz at Liverpool, and the results were certainly interesting.
As things stand, Wirtz and Ekitike are officially Liverpool players, with both featuring during the Reds’ 3-1 win against Yokohama in Japan on Wednesday.
While Isak has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool from Newcastle, despite the Northeast club maintaining that he’s not for sale amid speculation surrounding the player’s future.
The Sweden striker is said to be exploring his options after the Magpies initially explained that he did not travel on the team’s pre-season tour of Asia due to a “minor thigh injury”.

"He is still our player. He's contracted to us," Newcastle head coach Eddie Howe said at a news conference in Seoul on Tuesday.
"We, to a degree, control what is next for him. I would love to believe all possibilities are still available to us.
"My wish is that he stays, but that's not in my full control. We have not received a formal offer for Alex, from any club."

And there’s no doubting Isak’s pedigree, given the fact that he has netted 62 goals in 109 games since arriving in Tyneside from Real Sociedad in 2022.
But how would Isak combine with Wirtz and Ekitike at Liverpool?
Well, SPORTbible simulated the trio at the Reds using Football Manager, and the results were complex to say the least.
Liverpool finished second in the Premier League, eight points behind winners Manchester City.

But the Reds did win the FA Cup and Community Shield as well as finishing runners-up in the Champions League. Arne Slot’s side exited the League Cup with a third-round defeat to West Bromwich Albion.
So, how did the players do individually?

Isak scored 14 Premier League goals and six in the Champions League with a combined total across all competitions of 23 goals and eight assists in 49 appearances.

Ekitike scored just six goals and provided one assist, having started just three games in all competitions, while Wirtz made 50 appearances and produced 16 goals and three assists.
The simulation also details how the Reds replaced Luis Diaz, who has signed for Bayern Munich, with former Everton, Fulham, Leicester City and current Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman replacing the Colombian.
Lookman scored eight times and registered six assists in 47 appearances. Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guehi also arrived at Anfield but struggled to nail down a starting spot in the side's defence, featuring just nine times.
