New footage of the Liverpool fan goading Diego Simeone prior to his red card in Atletico Madrid's last-gasp loss at Anfield.
The Reds kicked off their new Champions League campaign with a thrilling 3-2 victory over the La Liga outfit, who fought back from going 2-0 down after strikes from Mo Salah and Andy Robertson.
Marcos Llorente, whose dog is named Anfield, bagged a second brace at the stadium to pull Atleti level, but Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk popped up with the winner in stoppage time.
Not for the first time, Atleti boss Simeone let the emotions get the better of him and footage showed him running to his left before becoming involved in a heated incident with Liverpool supporters.

Held back by security and stewards as members of his coaching staff backed him up, the Argentine was shown a red card by the referee for his behaviour.
As shown in multiple angles from the stands, Simeone tried to get back at the fans who lapped it up, while one of his coaches threw a water bottle and also appeared to aim a spit in their direction - with a colleague producing a lewd gesture.
One fan in particular looked to have wound up Simeone more than others as he laughed in his face and after the game, he took to X and joked, "Do I get the assist?" in response to Van Dijk's winner.

And footage showed that what he did when Atletico equalised in the 81st minute. When Llorente's deflected volley beat Alisson Becker, players, coaches and Simeone piled in on the celebrations.

In the background, the fan in question, wearing an illuminous green shirt could be seen angrily shouting at those on the pitch, as well as sticking his two fingers up at all those associated to Atletico.
After the game, Simeone was asked a plethora of questions about his dismissal and gave his version of events while also claiming the fan should be punished for goading him.

Simeone said: "My reaction was unjustifiable, but do you know what it's like to be insulted for 90 minutes, to turn around after the opponent scores and still be insulted? It's not that easy.
"[The referee told me] he understood me. I hope Liverpool can improve that aspect and that when they identify the person who did that, there will be consequences.
"There were insults throughout the match, including gestures. It's clear that I'm the one who has to stay calm, I have to put up with the insults, the gestures and any situation. Because I'm in a position where I have to put up with it.
"I'm not really going to get into the exact nature of the insults. I don't want to get involved in that. I have got to stay in my place, I know what went on behind the manager's bench."

However, when asked about what the referee said to him, he refused to answer and quickly exited the press conference.
