Liverpool fans have given their verdict on Bradley Barcola after watching him play for PSG against Spurs in the UEFA Super Cup.
Barcola, 22, has been linked with a potential move to Liverpool in recent weeks, with journalist Fabrizio Romano reporting last week that although the Reds consider him to be “world class”, no official talks between clubs were underway.
This came after French outlet L’Equipe claimed that the Premier League champions had Barcola “lined up” to bolster their attack following the departures of Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez.
Then, on Tuesday, The Athletic reported that “senior Anfield figures dismissed reports that Liverpool were targeting PSG attacker Bradley Barcola”, as they fear bringing in a left-sided attacker would block youngster Rio Ngumoha’s path to the first team.

Of course, Liverpool’s interest in Alexander Isak, following a bid of £110m plus add-ons earlier this month, is well-documented.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guehi and 18-year-old Italian defender Giovanni Leoni of Parma are also closely linked with the Reds.
Despite the reports playing down interest in Barcola, fans were still keen to watch him play for PSG against Spurs in the Super Cup on Wednesday.

Barcola, who is contracted to the French outfit until 2028, started the match in Italy and despite his side drawing 2-2 in 90 minutes, before PSG went on to win 4-3 on penalties, the 22-year-old still did enough to impress the Liverpool faithful.
Several supporters took to social media to issue their thoughts on Barcola's showing in Udine.
One said: “I have seen enough. Richard Hughes bring me Barcola."
Another added: “Liverpool, please save Barcola from this mediocrity."

A third claimed: “Barcola is the only player looking decent. I'd have him at Liverpool, such a good player.”
A fourth commented: “Get Slot to call Barcola tonight and show him the 4-0 against Spurs last season.”

So, what has Luis Enrique said about the situation?

Well, back in June he was asked about the potential of Barcola moving on, to which the Spaniard replied: “Bradley Barcola's future? I have no doubt he'll remain our player. We like the fact that our players are interesting to other clubs. But he's one of those young players we've been banking on. I expect him to play here for many more years. And I think that's what he wants too. So, I have no doubts that he will remain our player."
