Jamie Carragher received a "sympathy vote" from Celtic goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel as CBS Sports created a tally showing every guest's favourite person on the show.
Things got off to an emotional start on Wednesday night, when Thierry Henry praised fellow pundit Micah Richards for his resilience after injury forced the former Manchester City defender to retire at 31.
Henry went on to describe Richards as "his favourite person", a topic that later became a talking point on the show.
Kate Abdo introduced the segment, which was created after those behind the scenes at CBS went back and reviewed every guest's answer to Micah's perennial question – who is your favourite on the show?

"We do have a table to show you who is winning," said Abdo as she pointed towards the big screen.

Thierry Henry came out on top with 26 votes, while Micah Richards (12) and Kate Abdo (11) made up the top three.
On Wednesday, Richards moved up to second on the list after Henry described him as his favourite. "You’ve done me no favours there," Abdo said to Henry. "So, he is ahead of me."
Jamie Carragher, meanwhile, received just one vote, with former Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel, who is often on pitchside reporting duties, picking up two.
Abdo proceeded to tee up Carragher. "You might be asking, who is that one person who gave him that one vote? Let’s go out to Liverpool and remind ourselves," said Abdo. "Kasper, it’s all your fault."
After voting for Carragher as his favourite, Kasper Schmeichel explained his decision. "Sorry, sorry—yeah, I felt sorry for you. That’s a sympathy vote."
Abdo replied: "That’s what I thought. What were you thinking? What made you vote Jamie’s way?"
To his credit, Schmeichel hit back with an entertaining answer. "Well, you know, you’ve got to root for the underdogs sometimes," said the former Leicester goalkeeper. "I thought, he doesn’t have a Premier League title!'
After the studio burst into laughter, Kasper's father, Peter, was clearly proud of his son's quick thinking, saying, "That’s my boy!"
Kasper Schmeichel makes heartbreaking admission in front of his dad live on CBS
On Tuesday night, after Real Madrid knocked Manchester City out of the Champions League, Celtic goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel admitted he may have played his last game in professional football.
Schmeichel hasn't played since February 22 and will undergo the first of two shoulder operations later this month, meaning he will miss Denmark's World Cup play-off semi-final against North Macedonia on March 26.
Speaking to his father and Richards on CBS Sports, Kasper said: "I could've potentially played my last football game. I've been a footballer since the day I was born. It's devastating. It's very, very hard to wrap my head around at the moment."
He added: "I got the message [on Tuesday] that it could potentially be the end of my career. By the time I could get back fit I could be plus 40.
"I'm going to give it everything I can to see if I can get back. It would be probably one of the greatest feats of my career if I could ever get back from an injury like this. I'm going to fight, I'm going to try everything I can. I'm going to do the rehab."
The 39-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season.
