Former Millwall hooligan Ginger Bob claimed that he had 120 firm members running away in a notorious incident.
When football fans consider the fiercest rivalries in the sport, most of us consider Real Madrid and Barcelona, Celtic and Rangers or maybe even the recent clash between Sunderland and Newcastle United.
However, there are few rivalries that are as bitter and dangerous as the one between West Ham United and Millwall fans.
This was particularly true during for members of the firm culture that took over football in England and the 70s and 80s, with hooligans from both clubs often involved in brutal fights that saw dozens injured.

But in one instance, infamous Millwall hooligan Ginger Bob claimed that he and 11 other firm members had as many as 120 West Ham United hooligans on the run in a shocking story.
Ginger Bob was a key leader of Millwall's revered 'Bushwackers' gang, having joined when he was just 15 years old.
Across his time as a member of the firm, Bob claimed that Cardiff City were surprisingly his side's toughest opponents in those times.
But there was once incident with a group of West Ham United fans that stood out to Bob, as he claimed that him and 11 mates took on 125 of his rival club's firm.
"I gave West Ham a speech, I said 'you know me, I'm Ginger Bob' and I wasn't even tooled up and they were tooled up," Bob told Anything Goes With James English.
"I said to the guys 'over you come lads' and there were 12 of us and we run at 120.
"The Birdman threw a petrol bomb that went 60ft up in the air and as they were trying to get away they dropped their weapons.
"There was a big pile of them, and we just gave them a terrible beating."

The fight that Bob is likely referring to is commonly known as the 'London Bridge incident,' however West Ham fans have often denied that it even happened.
But Bob assured that it is very real and that he was front and centre for it.
"They think it never happened but I was there at the front of it," he claimed.
"They say it's a figment of my imagination, but it's not."
