England captain Harry Kane has reportedly been made a first-choice transfer target for a huge European club – and it’s not Manchester United.
Kane, 32, is currently with England ahead of their World Cup qualifiers against Serbia and Albania.
The 32-year-old is arguably in the form of his career, having registered 23 goals and three assists in 17 appearances for Bayern Munich so far this term.
Despite the Englishman appearing happy at Bayern, with whom he won the Bundesliga in 2024/25, the striker continues to be linked with a move away from the Bavarian club.

Kane’s current contract is set to run until June 2027, although he reportedly had a £57 million release clause written into the deal, which could be triggered in the summer of 2026.

The striker has previously tentatively been linked with a return to the Premier League with Manchester United, Liverpool, and former club Spurs among the destinations mooted.
Just last month, Kane explained how he was open to the idea of extending his stay in Germany.
“In terms of staying longer, I could definitely see that,” Kane said in October.
“I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise, I would be willing to talk and have an honest conversation. Obviously, it depends on how the next year or so goes, what we achieve together.
“In terms of the Premier League, I don’t know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back. Now I have been there a couple of years, I would probably say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn’t say I would never go back.”

However, according to The Guardian, the England captain is seen as a younger replacement for the soon-to-be-out-of-contract Robert Lewandowski, who has yet to be offered a new deal by Barcelona.
Lewandowski, 37, netted a hat-trick in Barca’s 4-2 away win against Celta Vigo on Sunday, but has struggled with injuries so far this term and may be phased out by the La Liga side.
There had previously been some suggestions that the Pole was considering retirement if Barca did not offer him a contract, but his agent has since spoken out about the topic and rubbished the reports.
As for Kane, a move to Barca would further cement his legacy in the game, and he may look to England teammate Marcus Rashford, who is currently enjoying life on loan in Catalonia, for some words of advice if the deal does occur.
