Brazil were shockingly knocked out of the World Cup in the last 16, and one of the nation's biggest icons is desperate for Carlo Ancelotti's contract to be torn apart.
The five-time winners were dumped out of the competition by Norway as Erling Haaland's brilliant brace sent his side into the quarter-finals, where they will face England on Saturday.
Defeat spelt the end of Neymar's World Cup ambitions, and the 34-year-old was visibly upset on the final whistle.
Alarmingly, exiting at the last 16 stage was their worst performance in the prestigious tournament since being knocked out by fierce rivals Argentina in 1990.

Selecao have now gone 24 years without lifting a World Cup, and the closest they have come since then was in 2014 when they famously suffered a humiliating 7-1 defeat to eventual winners Germany in the semi-finals.
Carlo Ancelotti was appointed in May 2025 to achieve their fortunes, but instead of being given time to truly make an impact on a nation that has underperformed for so long, many are calling for him to be sacked.
Romario, who won the World Cup with Brazil in 1994, is the latest to voice his anger towards Ancelotti and has even said he would 'take him to court' following their premature exit.
"He cannot remain Brazil’s head coach," Romario said via talkSPORT.
"If I had been in charge of the federation, I would have walked into the dressing room, told him to go to hell and torn up his contract on the spot.
"The match against Norway was a disgrace. I’d even take him to court. Then we’ll see what happens, but he cannot stay."
Ancelotti is one of the greatest managers of all-time, winning the Champions League on five occasions, a record he currently holds.
But the weight of expectation in Brazil is even too much for someone of his calibre, and it will take an incredible amount of work behind the scenes to achieve success.
Carlo Ancelotti sack update after World Cup
Romario and several other Brazilian's are hoping the Italian is fired.
But Ancelotti, who has a contract that runs until 2030, is expected to continue in the role despite the anger shown towards the former Real Madrid boss.
“He is our manager and will be throughout this cycle," Brazil’s national team coordinator Rodrigo Caetano said after the Norway defeat.
“One of the main reasons we failed in this World Cup was not having proper, stable long-term guidance that would have prepared our national team the way it should for a World Cup, and we cannot make the same mistake again.”
That update suggests Ancelotti will stay on as Brazil boss, despite receiving unwavering amounts of criticism.
Ultimately, the South American giants need long-term stability, and sacking the legendary manager would be the opposite of that.
