A Champions League club are reportedly keen on signing Manchester City forward Erling Haaland despite the Norway international recently penning a deal through to 2034.
Haaland remains one of the most prolific goal scorers in Europe, having netted 29 times in 37 appearances for Manchester City this term.
Since joining the Premier League side from Borussia Dortmund in 2022, the Norwegian has registered 153 goals in 183 games, which earned him a lucrative new deal with the 10-time champions of England.
In January 2025, Haaland signed a nine-and-a-half-year contract extension, which, according to Capology, reportedly sees him earn around £875,000 per week.

And given the finances involved with the deal you’d expect Haaland to remain at the Etihad Stadium for most of his career.
However, a new report has suggested that this may not be the case.

According to TeamTalk, European champions Paris Saint-Germain have made ‘discreet enquiries’ about Haaland’s situation at City, although it is thought that the striker remains committed to Pep Guardiola’s team at this current time.
But, according to the report, both Barcelona and Real Madrid believe the deal contains a release clause which may allow Haaland to play in La Liga at some point in the future.
PSG may be in the market for a striker sooner rather than later after 2025 Ballon d’Or winner Ousmane Dembele questioned his teammates’ attitudes following the side’s 3-1 defeat away at Rennes on February 13.
"If we play as individuals, it won't work,” the France international said before head coach Luis Enrique branded his comments “worthless”.
"The players' statements after the match are worthless,” Enrique said. “Absolutely worthless.
"[So] are the coaches' statements, but the players' statements are worthless. I'm not going to answer any question from a player, any response from a player.
"I will never allow any player to be above the club. So, it's clear. I am the person responsible for the team.
"I will not allow any player to think that he is more important than the club. Not me, not the sporting director, not the president.”
Dembele was then substituted at half-time of PSG’s 3-2 Champions League play-off first leg win at Monaco on Tuesday (February 17).
Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea have all reportedly contacted PSG over a move for Dembele.
Whether this impacts a potential PSG move for Haaland remains unclear, but if a transfer does come to fruition, astronomical sums of money will likely need to be involved to prise the forward away from the Premier League.
