A world-renowned actor has teased Cristiano Ronaldo making his debut in an iconic Hollywood franchise.
Ronaldo, 40, is currently plying his trade in Saudi Arabia with Al Nassr, having previously played for Sporting CP, Manchester United, Juventus and Real Madrid, for whom he is the club’s record goalscorer.
And as the 2026 FIFA World Cup approaches, the Portugal international will no doubt want to tick off the one major trophy that has evaded him in his illustrious career.
The likely questions that will come after the tournament, regardless of the result, will be about Ronaldo’s potential next move and whether he will call time on one of the most successful footballing careers of all time.

But what will the five-time Ballon d’Or winner do once he does retire from the sport?
Well, given the fact that he is the most followed person on Instagram, commercial opportunities will no doubt continue to flood in their droves.

Several options will be on the table, including coaching, although Ronaldo has previously described the likelihood of him becoming a manager as “almost impossible” due to his personality, while suggesting “owning a club makes more sense”.
And with Ronaldo having a reported net worth of in excess of $1billion, if he wanted to, he would never have to work another day in his life.
But a man with such drive and ambition will likely continue to pursue goals in other fields.
One avenue he could pursue is appearing in films with Fast & Furious star Vin Diesel – formerly Mark Sinclair Vincent – teasing the Portuguese potentially appearing in one of the franchise's films.
The American posted a photograph of the pair on Instagram on December 12 with the caption: “Everyone asked, would he be in the Fast mythology… I gotta tell you, he is a real one. We wrote a role for him… @cristiano”.
It is unclear whether this was in jest, but if Ronaldo does, in fact, make an appearance, he would not be the first footballer to venture into the film industry.
Notably, former Premier League footballer Vinnie Jones has featured in several films, including Snatch, Lock and Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Manchester United legend Eric Cantona also played roles in Looking for Eric, Elizabeth, and The Salvation.
Even Ronaldo has had an involvement with films and acted as a producer and voice contributor in the 2018 animated series Striker Force 7.
