Cristiano Ronaldo has confirmed that he has finally tied the knot with his longtime partner, Georgina Rodríguez, in a private ceremony.
Back in 2016, Georgina Rodriguez was working at Gucci store in Madrid, earning just £10 an hour, when she met one of the biggest names in all of sport, Ronaldo.
"Let's just say it was butterflies in my stomach," she recalled in her Netflix series I Am Georgina.
Shortly after the pair started dating and have since had five children together: twins Eva Maria and Mateo, nine, daughter Alana, eight, daughter Bella, four, as well as 16-year-old son Cristiano Jr., from one of the football legend's previous relationships.

Throughout their relationship, Ronaldo has been regularly asked when, or if, he would ever tie the knot with his long-term partner, who he often refereed to as his wife despite never getting married.
But now, it's been confirmed that the pair have been married in an 'intimate and private' ceremony on Tuesday attended by their five children.
A representative for Ronaldo confirmed news of the union, saying: "Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez were married today in a civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal, and are now officially husband and wife.
"The ceremony was a private and intimate moment attended by their five children."
Ronaldo also that he and Georgina had tied the knot after ten years together by sharing a picture of their wedding rings on Instagram.
He captioned the post: 'C❤️G.'
Ronaldo's wedding comes exactly a year after confirming his engagement to Rodriguezon 11 August 2025, writing: “Yes, I do. In this and in all my lives.”
It also comes days after thousands of fans gathered outside the Funchal Cathedral in Funchal, Portugal as they believed that it was hosting Ronaldo's wedding.
However, it was later revealed that the couple weren't even there and that the ceremont was instead of an unconnected Portuguese couple from Madeira called Fabio Ramos and Fatima Nicole Cunha Teixeira.
Reacting to the news, Piers Morgan, a well-known fan of Ronaldo, wrote on social media: "Congrats to my friends Cristiano & Georgina on their wedding today in Portugal!
"They’re a great couple, and I wish them a long and happy marriage together. Parabéns!"
