Cristiano Ronaldo nearly knocked out a cameraman with his free kick during Al Nassr’s Saudi Professional League clash.

On Saturday evening, Ronaldo’s Al Nassr side took on Al Raed at the King Abdullah Stadium.

Goals from Ronaldo, Sadio Mane and Anderson Talisca sealed a 3-1 win. Mohammed Fouzair was the scorer for Al Raed.

During the match, a video filmed from the crowd showed Ronaldo’s free kick attempt sailing past the goal and hitting the cameraman on the head. You can watch the footage below.

Despite being hit with a venomous Ronaldo strike, the cameraman stayed as professional as he could by holding onto the camera whilst trying to stay on his feet.

As a result of their win against Al Raed, Al Nassr moved up to sixth place in the Saudi Professional League table.

Al Nassr have so far collected 12 points from their first six league matches.

This week, it has been reported that Ronaldo is set to sue his former side, Juventus over unpaid wages.

According to Italian news outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is looking for

the €19.9 million that he was promised by the Serie A giants when he agreed to defer his salary due to the COVID pandemic.

It is believed that Ronaldo has decided to begin legal action against Juventus after asking for the relevant documents from the Turin Public Prosecutor’s Office.

Aside from Ronaldo, another former Juventus player is also set to be about to sue the club.

Defender Leonard Bonucci is set to begin legal action against the club over training conditions.

It is claimed that his lawyers will proceed with the legal action, consisting of a 'request for compensation for damages due to the alleged lack of adequate training and preparation conditions available to Bonucci'.
