Cole Palmer's latest Instagram post is going viral after he set another Premier League record in Chelsea's 4-3 win over Tottenham.

The England star scored twice in the victory, while he also produced an incredible solo dribble past several Spurs players before assisting Enzo Fernandez for the goal that put Chelsea 3-2 ahead.

Both of Palmer's goals came from the penalty spot, with the second seeing him produce an audacious Panenka down the middle of the net.

The 22-year-old now has 11 goals and six assists to his name in just 15 Premier League appearances this season, and Chelsea move clear in second place with the result after Arsenal could only draw 1-1 with Fulham.

The second penalty saw Palmer break yet another Premier League record during his time at Chelsea, having signed for the club from Manchester City last season.

Fabrizio Romano reported that he has now had 37 Premier League goal contributions for Chelsea in a calendar year - breaking the record of 36 set by Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink back in 2001.

He has also now scored all 12 of his penalties, the most ever scored by a Premier League player with a 100 per cent success rate.

Following the victory and his new records, Palmer took to Instagram - and his post has quickly gone viral on social media.

He posted four photos of his Panenka penalty with the simple caption: "Chippy."

If you're unsure of the reference, you have to go back to March when Palmer was asked by BBC Sport to name his favourite post-match meal.

He responded: "Chinese. Salt and pepper chicken, rice. Not salt and pepper chips - too much, that.

"But you know chippy chips? They have to be them chips, or else you don't get them. Curry sauce, noodles."

Chelsea are next in action on Thursday as they travel to take on Kazakh side Astana in the group stages of the Conference League.
