Paul Merson couldn't believe his eyes after Cole Palmer missed an absolute sitter during Chelsea's 2-2 draw with Leeds United.
On Tuesday night, Liam Rosenior looked to continue his impressive form since taking over as Chelsea manager as his side hosted Leeds United at Stamford Bridge.
Since taking over following former manager Enzo Maresca's dramatic exit from the club, Rosenior boasts an unbeaten record across the Premier League and Champions League.
Initially, it looked like the match against Leeds United would be yet another comfortable win for the English manager as goals from Joao Pedro and Palmer put Chelsea 2-0 up before the hour mark.

But things suddenly changed in the second half as Leeds came back to draw 2-2 after Palmer missed a golden chance to win the game in the dying moments, and Merson was in total disbelief.

Throughout the season Palmer has struggled with consistent injury issues that have regularly kept him out of the starting Chelsea lineup in recent months despite him being arguably their best player.
However, the 3-1 win over Wolves last weekend appeared as if it could be a real turning point for the England star, as he netted all three goals in the dominant win.
Palmer continued this fiery form on Tuesday night, assisting Pedro's opening goal before netting a penalty to put the hosts 2-0 up.
But there can be no doubt that the one moment he will be thinking about more than any other is his spectacular miss in the final 90 seconds of the match, as he failed to put the ball into an open net from just yards away.
Reacting to the moment, Sky Sports pundit Merson could hardly contain himself as he jumped out of his chair shouting at how bad of a miss it was.
"No! Palmer has just missed from two yards! He's still standing in the goal with his mouth open, he cannot believe he has just missed," Merson shouted live on Sky Sports.
"I can't believe what I've just seen, wow. He couldn't do that again if he tried, I cannot believe what I've just watched.
According to data expert The xG Philosophy, Palmer's chance had a stunning xG of 0.91, demonstrating just how crazy it is that he failed to find the back of the net.
Addressing the miss post-match, Rosenior admitted that Palmer shouldn't have needed to score the goal given the position Chelsea had been in earlier in the match.
The Chelsea boss said: "He's in the position, 999 times out of 1000, he scores, it was just that one in that moment. We shouldn't be in that position. The game should be done at 2-0.
"I need to show the players certain things to make sure that doesn't happen again."
