A video of Cole Palmer walking outside of the Emirates Stadium following Arsenal’s 1-0 win (4-2 on aggregate) over Chelsea in the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg has emerged on social media – and fans have pinpointed a particular ‘disgusting’ detail they are unhappy with.
Liam Rosenior’s Chelsea side could not overturn the one-goal deficit from the first leg in what proved to be a relatively poor watch for the neutral.
Kai Havertz’s 97th-minute strike ensured Arsenal reached their first cup final since their 2020 FA Cup triumph against Chelsea during Mikel Arteta’s first campaign in charge.
The Gunners will face either Manchester City or Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley on March 22. And although the fate has never been achieved before, Arsenal could still win the quadruple – Champions League, Carabao Cup, FA Cup and Premier League.

As for Chelsea, they will, no doubt, be disappointed with their performance in which they registered just two shots on target despite knowing they had to score to progress, having started the game 3-2 down on aggregate.
Despite introducing Palmer, Estevao and Alejandro Garnacho during the second half, none of the three could make a positive impact as Chelsea struggled to unlock the resolute Arsenal back line.
After the match, a video of Palmer walking outside the Emirates emerged online to the surprise of fans.
The Chelsea man, who was wearing a face covering, was clad in a club tracksuit while being accompanied by security guards and several supporters.
However, social media users spotted something else that some suggested was totally unacceptable, and it had nothing to do with Palmer.
One fan who featured in the clip wore a half-and-half shirt combining a Chelsea away shirt with an Arsenal home jersey.
And fans were quick to offer their thoughts online.
One said: “Look at that guy wearing half and half Chelsea and Arsenal shirts in front of him, by the way. Game's Gone.”
Another added: “Half-and-half Arsenal/Chelsea shirt. Worst thing I've ever seen. Why would that even be manufactured?”
As a third commented: “Wtf is that? Bro should be catching hands for that. I thought the scarf was bad enough, but a half-and-half shirt is too far.”
While a fourth claimed: “A half-and-half shirt is absolutely ridiculous.”
A fifth slammed: “That’s literally disgusting.”
Arsenal return to action at home against Sunderland on Saturday (February 7) while Chelsea take on Wolves at Molineux.
