Arsenal have officially confirmed a new arrival hours after the January transfer window slammed shut.
On Monday night at 7pm, the winter transfer window for English clubs came to a close.
At the start of the day, the Gunners were linked with a shock move for Newcastle United star Sandro Tonali after an injury suffered by Mikel Merino.
However, a move never materialised as Newcastle were in no mood to let the Italian midfielder leave.

In the end, Arsenal closed out transfer deadline day with no new signings for the first team.
However, on Tuesday evening, the Gunners confirmed the signing of youngster Jaden Dixon, who is set to join the club's academy.
The Arsenal Academy stated: "Welcome to The Arsenal, Jaden! We’re delighted to announce the signing of defender Jaden Dixon from Stoke City.
"Jaden Dixon has signed for us from Championship side Stoke City. The 18-year-old defender joined Stoke City from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2023 and went on to sign his first professional contract in May 2024."
The statement continued: "An England youth international, also eligible to represent Jamaica, Jaden has been capped for the Three Lions at under-17, 18 and 19 level.
"Everyone at Arsenal would like to congratulate Jaden and welcome him to the club. The transfer is subject to the completion of regulatory processes."

Saying farewell to Stoke City, Dixon wrote on his social media page: "My time at Stoke has come to an end.
"I want to say a huge thank you to all the coaches that have supported me over the years. Thank you @stokecity for a time I’ll never forget."
Dixon is Arsenal's second academy signing this week, having confirmed the arrival of Evan Mooney on Monday.
Mooney, 18, signed for the Gunners from Scottish Premiership side St Mirren.
Mikel Arteta's men are in action on Tuesday night when they take on Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium, with a place in the Carabao Cup final at stake. The Gunners are leading 3-2 from the first leg.
