Manchester United have confirmed that another player has left the club following the closure of the winter transfer window.
Four weeks of transfer rumours all came to an end on Monday evening as the winter 2026 window came to a close.
Despite the fact that the window was relatively quiet for most clubs, there were some Premier League sides that kept busy throughout January, with the likes of Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace securing deals.
Meanwhile Manchester United were among the clubs that decided not to sign a single player in the winter transfer window, as the club adjusts to life after sacking former manager Ruben Amorim.

However, that didn't stop the club from allowing some players to depart, as they've confirmed that another player has left United after the transfer window closed.

The winter transfer window officially shut at 19:00 GMT on Monday, and yet, 14 hours later United released a statement announcing that Sekou Kone had left the club on loan for the rest of the season.
Subject to international clearance, the young midfielder will join Swiss Super League side Lausanne-Sport with the plan for him to get regular first-team minutes.
Lausanne are currently in seventh in the 12-team table, after playing 22 games, with United hoping that Kone can help them escape the bottom five teams that will have to compete in a relegation round.
The 20-year-old could also feature in the Swiss side's UEFA Conference League play-off match against SK Sigma Olomouc.
"We will be tracking Sekou's progress closely and wish him the very best of luck," United wrote in the statement.
The highly rated Mali youth international is yet to make his senior debut for United, but was on the bench for three Premier League games last season.

Many expected that Kone could make some further progress this season, but a fractured eye socket sustained during a National League Cup tie at Tamworth in August ruled him out for the start of the season.
The midfield talent returned to fitness in December, and played in two U21 matches, but since the middle of January has been training with his new team, who are also part of the same Ineos multi-club ownership group as United.
