A compilation of Cole Palmer's performance during Chelsea's 4-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Monday evening is going viral.

Mauricio Pochettino's side came from behind in a chaotic game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which saw Spurs defenders Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie sent off.

Son Heung-min, Eric Dier, Raheem Sterling, Moises Caicedo and Nicolas Jackson had goals ruled out for offside, and the home side lost Micky van de Ven and James Maddison to injury.

Amidst all the chaos, 21-year-old Palmer managed to shine the brightest and prove why he's turning into one of the most underrated signings of the summer.

Palmer joined Chelsea from Manchester City in the summer for £40 million in a bid for more game time.

Despite being part of City's treble-winning side last season, the midfielder made just two Premier League starts and seven in all competitions.

He's already equalled that tally this term as part of a Chelsea side in transition. Palmer has proven to be a vital part of that, flourishing in his new role.

After Dejan Kulusevski put Spurs ahead in the first five minutes, Palmer coolly dispatched the equaliser from the penalty spot after Romero chopped Enzo Fernandez down in the area.

The England U21 international grew into the game even more following Romero's dismissal.

His link-up with Raheem Sterling and Jackson offers promise for a Blues side that still doesn't look fully settled.

Palmer turned provider for Jackson in injury time, who completed his hat-trick with a close-range finish that left the colossal Guglielmo Vicario beaten.

What's striking is Palmer's attitude in interviews, which is very different to your typical footballer.

He's not shy to let his true feelings be known, and it wasn't more evident than in his post-match chat alongside Jackson.

The striker's found goals hard to come by since arriving from Villarreal over the summer. Palmer didn't gloss over that.

"It has been a difficult start for him, no hiding from it," Palmer bluntly admitted.

"He just needs to work hard on the training pitch and keep his head down, then I think he will get many hat-tricks."

Chelsea have moved up to 10th in the Premier League table and return to action against Manchester City on Sunday afternoon.
