Diomansy Kamara, the agent of Nicolas Jackson, has issued a telling response after Chelsea pulled the plug on his client's proposed move to Bayern Munich.
Bayern had been willing to pay up to £69.2 million for Jackson, a deal which would've included a world record £13 million loan fee and a further £56.2 million if the transfer was made permanent next summer.
The 24-year-old, who has fallen down the pecking order at Chelsea following the summer arrivals of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro, was pictured arriving at Munich airport on Saturday ahead of a medical.
An agreement was reached between both clubs on Friday but shortly before Jackson's arrival, Delap suffered a hamstring injury in their Premier League clash against Fulham.

"Liam’s injury doesn’t look good," said Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca, who said the striker is expected to be out for six to eight weeks.
He added: "In terms of another striker, to be honest, we just finished the game from the changing room and came here for the press conference, so now after, when we finish, we’re going to sit and we’ll see if we take any decision. That’s all.”

A short time later, Chelsea informed Bayern they would not be proceeding with the proposed loan.

Jackson was also asked to return to London, although his agent, Diomansy Kamara, has since made a rather interesting claim on social media.
Kamara, who played for Portsmouth, Fulham and West Brom during a 17-year playing career, reposted a story on Instagram about his client’s predicament, commenting: "The plane doesn't go backwards."
A report from The Telegraph suggests Jackson has been left 'fuming' after Chelsea cancelled the deal.

Bayern Munich director Max Eberl, meanwhile, has provided an update on the situation.
“Chelsea have informed us that they want the player back – after we had reached an agreement yesterday and were allowed to conduct the medical," he said on Saturday night, as per Florian Plettenberg.
"Now the situation is that the boy is in Munich and we have to send him back. That’s the current state of affairs, I can’t look into the future.”
