A Bayern Munich scout reportedly leaked the club's transfer plans after a WhatsApp message was made public.

After winning the Bundesliga title during the 24/25 season, Bayern have been busy in the transfer market as they look to fine-tune Vincent Kompany's squad.

So far, the Bavarians have brought in Jonathan Tah and Tom Bischof but missed out on Florian Wirtz, who opted to join Premier League champions Liverpool.

Meanwhile, the likes of Mathys Tel, Eric Dier and Leroy Sane have all departed.

In recent weeks, Bayern have been linked with a move for Liverpool star Luis Diaz, who is reportedly keen to leave Anfield.

With the summer transfer window in full swing, the scouting department will be working around the clock to identify the right players for the club.

However, it was recently claimed that a scout had leaked a list of players Bayern were looking at through WhatsApp.

According to tz Munich, via Merkur, the scout mistakenly shared a list of young players on his WhatsApp status last Thursday.

Usually, the content of a WhatsApp status is visible to all contacts for 24 hours.

The status reportedly read: "Please prioritize these 2011-born players in your scouting according to your region for the upcoming season. We need initial impressions by 15.09. Thanks!"

According to tz, the list included players like Lukas Dillschneider from Saarbrucken, Kemi Seudi from VfB Stuttgart, Sam Haritz and Lino Nikisch from Schalke, Nikita Drozd, Edgar Idada and Dennis Yakavenka from Nurnberg, and Denton Snoh from Mainz.

Delivering an update on Bayern's bid to sign Diaz from Liverpool, Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg wrote on social media: "FC Bayern are continuing to push to sign Luis #Díaz. Negotiations and talks with Liverpool and the player’s camp are ongoing #LFC.

"As revealed, Díaz can sign a Bayern contract running at least until 2029. The deal is still possible."

Bayern are back in action when they take on French side Lyon on August 2.
