Here is a list of free agents Arsenal could sign following the devastating Kai Havertz injury news.

Havertz has been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering a torn hamstring during Arsenal's warm-weather training camp in Dubai.

He has been a crucial figure in Mikel Arteta's system, having played 34 games across all competitions this season.

Havertz joins Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus on the sidelines, with Arteta already without several key attackers for their campaign.

Despite the transfer window slamming shut earlier this month, the Gunners could recruit a free agent to solve their issues up front.

Free agent forwards Arsenal could sign

There are plenty of forwards still without a club following the end of the winter transfer window, including a few notable names.

Diego Costa

Costa is arguably the biggest name who is still a free agent. He's without a team following his spell with Gremio.

The 36-year-old is best known for his prolific spell at Chelsea, where he helped the Blues to two Premier League titles.

Costa scored an impressive 20 goals in 26 games in his debut campaign in England's top flight before bagging another 20-goal haul in the 2016/17 term.

The Brazilian-born Spaniard returned to the Premier League following his stint at Atletico Madrid by joining Wolves but only netted one goal.

Of course, he would just be a temporary fix but would provide a focal point for Arteta's side.

Lucas Perez

If the name sounds familiar, it's because Perez has already been on Arsenal's books. The Spaniard joined the club during Arsene Wenger's legendary era.

However, he barely featured in the league, scoring just one goal in 11 league games - but bagged six goals in cup competitions.

Perez, 36, is a free agent after being let go by Deportivo La Coruna.

Kevin Gameiro

Gameiro has never played in England, having plied his trade in Ligue 1 and La Liga.

But the 37-year-old is also available as a free agent following his Strasbourg release.

The Frenchman made his name at Lorient before Paris Saint-German secured his services. He scored 19 league goals for PSG before taking his talents to Spain, where he enjoyed a prolific spell at Sevilla.

He also played for Atletico Madrid and Valencia.
