Arsenal fans are full of excitement after seeing how a long-time target reacted to the signing of Viktor Gyokeres for a fee which could reach £64 million.
After back and forth negotiations with Sporting and the nature of performance-related add-ons being a sticking point, Arsenal got the deal done and made the Swede their sixth signing of the summer after snapping up Martin Zubimendi, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Christian Norgaard, Noni Madueke and Cristhian Mosquera.
The Gunners have spent more than £200 million on new recruits but fans want the club to continue the spree with a move for Rafael Leao, who had an interesting response to Gyokeres' move.
As highlighted by Arsenal supporters, the AC Milan star appeared to like Gyokeres' post announcing his five-year deal before any of his new teammates.

Arsenal fans call for Leao move
Gunners supporters immediately called for Arsenal to sell Gabriel Martinelli and replace him with Leao, who went on to score against Premier League champions in another friendly in Hong Kong.
And the clamour for Mikel Arteta and sporting director Andrea Berta to go all out for the Portugal international is strong.
One fan on X wrote: "We need to save that brother from Milan."
A second said: "Feel like he would be so good for us. A needed presence on the left.
A third added: "Let's make it happen.."
A final user stated: If Arsenal really want Rafael Leao, they can get him. He fits the profile and the need. If it’s not Rodrygo or Eze, it has to be Leao."

Discussing Arsenal's transfer business, Arteta said: "There's still a long time in the window and we are seeking still. In terms of numbers, we are short and we have to improve the depth and quality of the squad. We are constantly looking in the market."
After beating both Milan and Newcastle, Arsenal take on North London rivals Spurs in a friendly game in Hong Kong on Thursday.
Gyokeres could make his Arsenal debut if he proves his fitness to the club's medical staff, having not trained with Sporting while pushing for his dream move.
