Leandro Trossard produced a stunning piece of skill during Belgium’s match against Azerbaijan.

On Sunday night, Belgium were in Euro 2024 qualifying action as they looked to secure the top spot in Group F against Azerbaijan.

During what was a comfortable evening for the Belgians, four goals from Romelu Lukaku and a goal from Trossard sealed a 5-0 win for the hosts.

As a result, Domenico Tedesco’s men finished above Austria in the group.

Arsenal star Trossard produced an outrageous piece of skill during the match which left fans in awe.

The midfielder scooped the ball up and away from the tackle before expertly bringing the ball back down with a stunning piece of close control.

Trossard joined Arsenal from Brighton and Hove Albion in January but has been used mainly as a backup option.

Speaking about his Arsenal career during a recent interview, the 28-year-old vowed to give Gunners boss Mikel Arteta a selection headache.

He told HLN: “I am very satisfied with my performance at Arsenal. We are doing well and I am happy that I can contribute to that… I don’t think anything needs to improve. I am doing well and can’t do more than make it as difficult as possible for the coach.

“Under Arteta, I have made the most progress in terms of watching football. For me it doesn’t really matter where the coach puts me. I have played just about everywhere in recent years. Where the coach puts me, I will play my match. I don’t really have a preference.”

Trossard continued: “The playing style is very different from Brighton. The way we play football is fantastic. I have learned a lot tactically.”

The Belgian will hope his performances during the international break can earn him a start when Arsenal return to Premier League action this weekend.

Arteta’s men will take on fellow London club Brentford on Saturday at the Gtech Community Stadium.
