Angry Ginge will have to return all of his winnings just days after winning I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!
After three weeks of bushtucker trials and plenty of drama in camp, the 2025 season of popular ITV reality series I'm a Celeb came to an end on December 7.
Actress Shona McGarty, TV personality Tom Read Wilson and social media star Angry Ginge, who represented England at Soccer Aid this year and manages in the Baller League, all made it into the final of the 2025 season.
But it was Ginge, real name Morgan Burtwistle, that was crowned the king of the jungle after fans praised him for his honesty on the show and his performances in various challenges and trials.

However, the 24-year-old won't be able to celebrate with his winnings for too long, as he will be made to return all that he won just days after his crowning moment.

It's long been known that the winner of I’m A Celeb does not receive any prize money by becoming King or Queen of the Jungle.
Instead, each of the show's participants receive the pre-agreed payment they organised before appearing on show, so long as they stayed in the jungle for at least 72 hours.
But the season's winner doesn't go home completely empty-handed, as Ginge was awarded with the iconic jungle sceptre and crown to anoint him as King.
However, the lifelong Manchester United fan won't be able to hold on to his prizes for too long, as ITV’s producers will expect him to return them before heading home to England.
I'm a Celeb's 2023 winner Sam Thompson explained previously that he was forced to return his winnings shortly after being crowned King of the Jungle.
He said on This Morning: “I didn’t get to keep anything! They wouldn’t let me keep anything!
“I had to give the sceptre back. I really wanted to bring it through airport security because it’s quite big.
“But yeah, I don’t have anything to show for it."
Danny Jones, last year’s winner, famously broke his jungle sceptre in the post-show party but was still forced to return it before heading back to the UK.

That being said, it's unlikely that Ginge will be too upset by the fact he can't keep his sceptre, as he explained to show hosts Ant + Dec just how much it meant to him to win the show.
In an emotional interview, he said: “Honestly, a dream come true. I didn’t think I could go all this way never mind win. Thank you to everyone who voted.
“I’d reached out to people before I went in to get some advice, but nobody warned me about what I was about to go through.
"No one said it was going to be that hard. That was the hardest thing I’ve ever done and was a real mental test.
“There were so many times I wanted to throw the towel in.”
